Dragonfly uses quantitative methods to solve applied problems.
With backgrounds in mathematical and natural sciences, we use statistical modelling to carry out the analysis necessary for robust decision making. Our staff undertake all stages of research projects, from scoping and design through to presentation and publication. Dragonfly can provide complete statistical analyses, or assist with components of analytic and data driven projects.
Current work is principally in environmental research, with projects on estimating and reducing the bycatch of protected species in fisheries, mapping the diversity of New Zealand's subtidal invertebrates, and ecological modelling.
